PLANT INSULIN : LATEST WEAPON AGAINST DIABETES

AMINO ACIDS and PROTEINS
Amino acids are the basic structural building units of proteins. They form short polymer chains called peptides or longer chains called polypeptides. A protein is made up of one or more polypeptide chains. Just as the letters of the alphabet can be combined in different ways to form an infinite variety of words and just like watching kids toying around with their Lego blocks producing various shapes and structures, amino acids can be linked together to form a enormous diversity of proteins.

A HEALING PROTEIN
Thirty-five years of dedicated research is the reality behind the discovery of Polypeptide-k. A storage protein that only exists in the seeds of a bitter gourd, it is made up of 160 amino acid residues with a molecular weight of 180 kD. These 160 residues are made up of the 18 standard amino acids. The percentages of amino acids present in polypeptide-k are (mole percent):

COMPOSITION: LIST OF AMINO ACIDS

Aspartic acid 9.4%
Threonine 3.0%
Serine 5.3%
Glutamine 17.1%
Glycine 8.9%
Alanine 7.3%
Valine 6.8%
Methionine 1.5%
Isoleucine 4.8%
Leucine 8.2%
Tyrosine 2.7%
Phenylalnine 4.2%
Histidine 3.1%
Arginine 9.2%
Proline & Cysteine 5.5%
Lycine & Tryptophan 3.0%

It is not merely a dried and ground process; instead the extraction method itself is patented in over 90 countries including the USA. Having a high homology with bovine insulin in terms of amino acid sequence and structure, polypeptide-k has shown to have similar functions with the insulin.

Years of research and clinical trials have demonstrated that polypeptide-k is very effective in blood glucose regulation, rejuvenation of the beta cells in the pancreas and also to inhibit glycation, a process believed to be responsible for much of the side effects of diabetes.

Long term consumption of polypeptide-k has reduced complications associated with diabetes such as diabetic retinopathy and diabetic neuropathy. For some of our consumers, they have been taken off the painful insulin shots and also the prescription drugs. Now, they are only on minimum dosage of polypeptide-k with no side effects and a well maintained glucose level.

Polypeptide-k consists of 18 amino acids whereas human insulin consists of 23 amino acids. Figures shows polypeptide-k and human insulin, when compared the similarities of these 2 protein sequences are 33.3 %.

Diabegard Protects Your Pancreas

  • Do you consume food rich in carbohydrates?
  • Do consume alcohol regularly?
  • Do you consume processed or refined food often?
  • Do you have a sedentary lifestyle?
  • Are you constantly under tremendous pressure at work or at home?

If your answer is yes to any one of these questions, then the health of your pancreas is in danger. Regular consumption of food rich in carbohydrates, alcohol and refined food puts your pancreas under tremendous pancreas to produce sufficient amount of insulin to mop up the spike in glucose levels. Consuming polypeptide-k will relieve the pressure off your pancreas and allow it to recover from a traumatic state to a healthy organ.
