Sugar plays a large role in our lives, as we consume it in various forms in both food and beverages – which is why there is a need for emphasis on monitoring our blood sugar levels. While we do need some amount of sugar, too much of it and particularly refined sugars can lead to heart diseases, weight gain (as a result of lowered metabolism), diabetes and more.
When one consumes an amount of sugar, naturally blood glucose levels rise. This reaction would induce a healthy pancreas to trigger beta-cells which produces insulin, a hormone which allows for glucose to enter cells and provide energy.
When the pancreas is unable to produce effective insulin, the cells are unable to function properly thus sugar remains within the blood, not metabolized. This causes blood sugar levels to remain high in the body, leading to a number of health risks.
This is where Polypeptide-k (PPk) steps in, a single molecule protein extract derived from bitter gourd seeds, Momordica charantia. It has been clinically proven to regulate blood sugar levels and increase metabolism, due to the homology (33.4%) between human insulin and PPk.
PPk has been thoroughly tested and certified halal by JAKIM and patented in 153 countries, including Australia, Indonesia, Europe, U.S, Austria, Albania, Turkey, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and Brunei. The U.S. patent contains a study of 605 patients’ reaction to PPk, which have all been positive, leading to regulated blood glucose levels.
Human insulin is a protein structure of 51 amino acids, all of which need to be present to be effective. When certain amino acids are not being produced by or present in the body, PPk, made of 18 amino acids, is able to substitute the missing links to form the whole protein.

Best supplement for diabetes control
Finding the best supplement for diabetes control requires careful consideration. While maintaining a balanced diet and engaging in regular exercise are crucial, certain supplements can support your efforts. However, it’s important to note that dietary supplements should complement, not replace, a healthy lifestyle. Consulting a healthcare provider before starting any new supplement regimen is strongly advised to determine the best approach for your specific needs.
One of the best supplement for diabetes control is chromium. This mineral has been shown to aid in insulin sensitivity and blood sugar regulation, making it a valuable addition to your routine.
Alpha-lipoic acid is another supplement worth considering. It can enhance glucose regulation and improve insulin sensitivity, making it a top choice for individuals seeking effective diabetes control.
When exploring options, bitter melon stands out as one of the best supplements for diabetes control. This fruit has a long history of use in diabetes treatment, with research suggesting that bitter melon supplements can enhance insulin sensitivity and regulate glucose levels effectively.
Cinnamon, a common spice, has also demonstrated positive effects on insulin sensitivity and glucose regulation. Incorporating cinnamon pills into your routine may help lower fasting blood sugar levels and contribute to better diabetes control.
Magnesium, an essential mineral, has been found to play a crucial role in insulin sensitivity and glucose regulation. Studies suggest that taking magnesium supplements can aid diabetics in better managing their blood sugar levels, making it an excellent addition to your diabetes control strategy.
Remember, it’s essential to consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new supplement regimen to ensure the best possible outcomes for your diabetes management. While supplements can be helpful, they should always be used in conjunction with a balanced diet and regular exercise for optimal results. By combining the right supplements with a healthy lifestyle, you can take significant steps towards better diabetes control. Learn more about us case studies.
